Growing your RAG

MDX RAG is only 3 years old and they have gone from strength to strength in this time. The session will cover the three main areas that they think has helped developed their RAG during this time:

- Employability for their RAG reps.

- Giving and not just raising.

- Recruitment & retention

Getting old school – collections and rag raids

The session is designed to go through the ins and outs of collections. It will discuss how to market your collections to your students, the different motivations of volunteers who might get involved, how to make sure they enjoy what they’re doing and how to keep them coming back. It will also discuss best practice and hints and tips on the collections themselves – how to raise the most you can (and have the most fun!).

The session will also look at the charity’s perspective of collections, as well as what Student Fundraisers are looking for from charity collections too. This makes it ideal for everyone from a student volunteer, to a RAG committee member to someone from a charity.
