Rhyannon Burman - Day

 

Senior Regional Fundraising Manager, The Children's Society

Rhyannon’s first experience of York RAG was a RAG Raid in wet October, before going on to become a College Rep, Treasurer and a Sabbatical RAG President, as well as hosting RAG Conference in York for the first time in 1997. She then joined Help the Aged and now has over 17 years’ experience in the Third Sector, within national and local charities.

Paul Marvel

Director of Professional Development and Membership, Institute of Fundraising

 

Paul has been with the IoF since June 2009 after a 17-year career as a senior fundraising manager at three major charities. Paul is Chair of international children’s charity ChildHope and is also a board member of the European Fundraising Association and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

 

Matt Wallace

Inspirational Speaker

On his 30th birthday Matt quit my job, packed up all his possessions and walked away from the life he had. From September 2011 to March 2012, he walked over 1500 miles, via all 16 of Cancer Research UK’s Centres of Excellence, becoming the first person ever to do so. With just a tent and a rucksack, he relied on the kindness of strangers and friends alike to help him keep going.
